LinkUp's April 2023 JOLTS Forecast
LinkUp’s April JOLTS forecast is 9.42 million. On May 2nd, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported job openings of 9.59 million in its Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) for March. JOLTS data is calculated as of the last business day of the month, but is released with a lag of about one month. On May 31st, 2023, the BLS will release its data for April.
LinkUp’s job listings data, sourced directly from company websites in March and April, enables faster estimates of JOLTS. Our data indicates a continuation of the recent trend from February (9.74 million) and March (9.59 million) following the robust Non-Farm Payroll report from earlier this month.
